A good standard and variety of meals is essential for resident’s health and well being and we have a well equipped kitchen at Abbey Lodge for all meal preparations.
Hygiene standards are an absolute priority in the kitchens and the furnished communal dining room where most residents choose to eat; the menu changes every day but always includes a range of freshly prepared home cooked meals which our cook carefully balance out for nutritional value.
Naturally, personal likes and dislikes of the residents are always taken into account and alternative meals and fresh fruit is always available if you fancy something different or just a light meal.
We think meals are more than just energy intake, they’re an integral part of life at Abbey Lodge and it’s essential that our residents enjoy and look forward to them; why not drop by for an informal visit and see the standard yourself?
